Siteye yeni dil eklemek: dünya küresi

Adding a new language is not necessary for every business, but it makes a big difference if you have foreign visitors, tourists or export potential. What matters is setting it up right: a language switcher, separate addresses and translation quality.

When is it worth it?

  • If visitors come to your site from other countries.
  • If you serve tourists (hotels, restaurants, clinics).
  • If you want to sell abroad.
  • If your competitors stay in a single language.

Steps for a correct setup

  1. Choose the languages. Add the languages your customers actually speak; more languages should not mean worse translations.
  2. Use a separate address for each language. For example /en/ and /de/; search engines then recognize each language separately.
  3. Link the pages to each other. hreflang links tell search engines the equivalent of the same page in other languages.
  4. Add a language switcher. A visitor should be able to change language with one click.
  5. Review the translation. Make sure details such as phone, address and prices are the same and correct in every language.

Common mistakes

  • Translating only the home page and leaving the inner pages.
  • Forgetting to translate the menu and the form.
  • Showing every language at the same address.

In the mySite panel, multilingual support is free; you do not pay a separate fee for an extra language. You can see all the tools on the one panel page.

Example scenario

The owner of a small seaside hotel notices that they host German and English guests in the summer. They add English and German to the site; each language gets its own address and language switcher, and the booking form works in every language. Booking requests land in a single notification center.
